CMG Workers United's Story

CMG Workers United is a group of engaged and active members from across Canadian Media Guild branches who love our union and want it to better represent our members.

We believe our union can be stronger, more united, more transparent and, most importantly, member-led.

Inspired by the traditions of reform of grassroots caucuses who revolutionized unions including ACTRA, the Chicago Teachers Union and United Auto Workers, we decided to unite to build a better CMG.

CMG Workers United is running a diverse and progressive slate of candidates in the upcoming elections who are united in their vision to make CMG bigger, stronger, more transparent and democratic. See our candidates below
